1. Data Collected
Name, email, phone, address, IBAN/bank information, apartment and tenant data, and app usage records (IP, device info, activity logs) may be collected in order to provide the Service.
2. Purpose of Processing
Personal data is processed to create accounts, calculate fees/expenses, send notifications, provide support, fulfil legal obligations and improve service quality.
3. Legal Basis
Data is processed based on explicit consent, contract performance, legal obligation and legitimate interest pursuant to articles 5 and 6 of the Turkish DPL (KVKK).
4. Sharing with Third Parties
Data is shared only with infrastructure providers necessary to deliver the Service (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) and with competent authorities when legally required. It is not sold for marketing purposes.
5. Retention Period
Data is retained for the period required by the processing purpose and applicable legislation. Once the purpose ceases, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
6. Data Security
Personal data is protected against unauthorized access using measures such as encryption, access control and logging. Passwords are stored using one-way hashing.
7. Cookies
The web application uses cookies for session management and essential functions. Consent is requested for non-essential cookies.
8. User Rights
Under article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and object to the processing of your data. Requests can be sent to support@bilancoapp.com.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 18. Data from this age group is not knowingly collected.
10. Changes
This Privacy Agreement may be updated. The latest version is effective upon publication within the app.
11. Account Deletion
You can delete your BilancoApp (BILANCO e.U.) account at any time. In the app: go to Profile > App Settings > Delete Account and confirm with your password; the account is deleted immediately. Alternatively, send a deletion request from your account's email address to support@bilancoapp.com; requests are processed within 30 days at the latest. Deletion permanently removes your name, email, phone number, address, IBAN/bank details, buildings, apartments, tenants, meter readings, income and expense records and any documents you uploaded. Invoice and payment records subject to statutory retention obligations are kept for the period required by applicable tax law (7 years in Austria) and deleted at the end of that period. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription; you must cancel it separately in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
